لیمیت سوئیچ اشنایدر الکتریک فلزی با سری ميله ای

لیمیت سوئیچ فلزی کلمۀ میکروسوئیچ برای شستی و کلید های کوچک به کار برده می شود ولی برای شستی های بزرگ از کلمۀ لیمیت سوئیچ استفاده می شود. لیمیت سوئیچ ها مانند شستی های استپ و استارت به مدارها فرمان می دهند و تنها فرق آن با استپ استارت های معمولی در طریقۀ فرمان دادن به آن ها است. اغلب شستی ها توسط انگشتان دست فرمان پذیر هستند ولی لیمیت سوئیچ ها توسط اعمال نیروی مکانیکی فرمان می گیرند. علامت اختصاری لیمیت سوئیچ ها تقریباً مشابه شستی های معمولی است و تنها فرق آن علامت دایره ای کوچک در بالای شستی می باشد.
